REHABILITATION OF BUILDING FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE OF KATANGA

The Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo has received financing from "the International Development Association (IDA) to cover the cost of the Project for Capacity Building in Governance (MDP) and intends to use part of this funding payments relating to the contract for rehabilitation of the building of the Directorate of Revenue Katanga (DR KAT).

Project Capacity Building in Governance (MDP) invites eligible and qualified bidders to submit their sealed bid to perform the following tasks:

- Lot 1: Preparatory work, work rehabilitation (not intranet, telephony and internal partitioning in bay window), remediation and site work;
- Lot 2: Partitioning Glazed interior;
- Lot 3: Intranet Telephony

The Tender will be in accordance with the procedures of the National Tender specified in the publication of the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement financed by IBRD loans and credits of the IDA (Edition May 2004, updated in October 2006) and is open to all bidders from countries that meet eligibility criteria as defined in the Tender Dossier.

• The inspection certificate of location.
• The list of names of key personnel with detailed resume.
• detailed list of material means that the bidder will undertake to implement the execution of the works and shall specify: (i) the equipment they own own, and their current availability And (ii) materials that may lease (owner's certificate if applicable).
• The schedule of works, in terms of quality system and the (Health, Safety, Health and Environment (HSSE) Project.
• sheets from materials to implement
• The list of references of work previously performed (indicate as a general contractor or as subcontractor) stating the amount, date and location, a copy of certificate of completion of works will be attached when is available.
• evidence confirming that the Bidder is in good standing vis-à-vis the laws of the RD-CONGO (TP Approval, Verification of INSS, Tax Certificate, New trade register, and national identification number status)

interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Provincial Coordination of MDP / Provincial Coordination of Katanga to the address given below from 9 am to 16 pm on weekdays.

The Tender Dossier complete in French can be purchased by interested bidders by written request to the address below against payment of a nonrefundable fee of hundred U.S. dollars (100 USD). Payment will be made in cash to the coffers of MDP (National Coordinating with the Treasurer and / or Provincial Coordination of Katanga from the Assistant Provincial Financial Management) against a receipt signed by him. For bidders who want the Tender Dossier will be sent to their peril, against presentation of proof of payment by mail. The shipping record will in this case the tenderers concerned.

All submissions must be accompanied by a Bid Security for an amount equivalent to four thousand U.S. dollars (4000 USD).

Bids must be submitted to the address below no later than October 22, 2010 at 11am (ET Kinshasa). Electronic filings will not be admitted. Bids will be opened at the address below on 22 October 2010 to 11:30 (time of Kinshasa) in the presence of bidders' representatives who wish to attend. The Tenders submitted after the deadline will be rejected.
