According to latest information, the president of Brazil Dilma Rousseff would favor the acquisition of the F/A-18 Super Hornet. This contract, long taken for granted for the Rafale seems to fly away after months of delays and procrastination.
On a slightly more optimistic note, it seems that the Rafale is among the favorites in India . Some devices have already been rejected by India, such as F-16in or the MiG-35, because they have run out of potential. The F/A-18 Super Hornet would have disappointed the Indian Air Force, while the Gripen lack of performance and has a lower radar. The finalists are the Rafale and the Eurofighter Typhoon.
